Infographic design in Brazil is considered to be one of the best in the world. At this year’s Malofiej, the Oscars of design information assigned by SND, Brazil toke 8 awards (you can check the list here), and it’s been like that for the past years. In a country where the habit of reading newspapers and news magazines still have an enormous margin for growth, infographics are increasingly assuming a role far beyond news and data visualization – the role of capturing and retaining more and more readers.
